This year “The List” is a little different, as we have been dealing with the consequences of the climate crisis. We feel very lucky that we’re still here, and we hope that you continue to support us on our journey.
We worked with fruit from Washington this year and I got to make wine with new varieties that we don’t have here in B.C.
The quality is terrific and I’m pleased to offer you these amazing wines—the only shipment for 2025.
In the pack, two each:
Petit Sirah: Semi-carbonic to produce a fruiter style wine with incredible texture on the palate. Pressed to Amphora and puncheons. It’s beautifully balanced and has ripe aromatics of blueberry, chocolate, plums and black pepper. If you like our Syrah you’re gonna love this!
Mourvèdre: De-stemmed and lightly crushed to open top tanks, pressed after 14 days on the skins to a combination of Amphora and French and neutral oak barrels. The profile is Blackberry, plum, violets with a lovely gamey/savoury note. This is a serious wine with richness and texture.
Syrah Mourvèdre Rosé: Really excited to be offering a rosé this year as it’s been a few years since I made one. If you tasted our Malbec Rosé from years ago and enjoyed it, well this will rock your world. Savoury, fruity and lean with red plums, candied red fruits and freshly picked herbs.
Sauvignon Blanc: No Pinot Blanc so we thought this would be a great opportunity to make a French-style Sauvignon Blanc. Direct press to 60% stainless steel ferment and 40% third fill French oak barrels. This wine is bursting with zesty citrus, grapefruit and lemongrass. If you are a fan of our Pinot Blanc and last years Pinot Gris then you will love this wine.
Chenin Blanc: Completely thrilled to work with Chenin! We had this pressed in Washington as it was safer for this juice to be transported in completely sealed tanks. Racked into a 1000 litre cask and the rest into concrete. Fermentation lasted 3.5 weeks and had a mind of its own! It’s beautiful and delicate with soft aromatics of green apple, pear and lemon/lime zest, finishing with a massive mineral undertone. Delicious!
La Bise: 100% Okanagan. The apples were Dabinett, Michelins and Stokes. Grapes for the blend are Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. Apples were picked and pressed in Summerland at Summerland Heritage Cider. This is the perfect blend of apples and grapes and should be your go-to patio sipper. Expect flavours of baked ripe apples, citrus, tea leaf, strawberry and ginger follow through the palate, finishing with juicy acidity.
$278 before deposit and applicable taxes + $25 flat shipping fee for all List members.
